Hi...My name is Rawya Shatila. I am from Beirut, Lebanon. I currently teach English as a foreign language for second graders at Makassed KBWH College. I have a challenging job because I spend most of my days with the future. I love working with the young ones since there are lots of things you can do. I always look for new projects and activities that help in involving my students and create a very positive learning atmosphere in class.Every day is a wonderful experience. Children give me hope. It's amazing to watch them grow and see the progress they make. Teaching is not my job, it's not a profession, it's who I am. I teach because I LOVE it. It's the only thing I want to do. I'm so very proud to say "I AM A TEACHER"...
Little one,
Whoever you are,
Wherever you are,
There are little ones just like you,
All over the world,
Their skin may be different from yours
And their homes may be different from yours,
Their schools may be different from yours...
but children all over the world,
despite their differences,
share similarities that join them together,
such as feeling love, pain, and joy...
Celebrate the differences in your lives that unite us all...
