February is Literacy Month. Nothing brings a book to life more than talking with an author. Second Graders invited an author over Skype through Microsoft Education Community Website... About this Skype Lesson: This thirty-minute lesson gave tips on how to: -Identify anger triggers and how to manage them -How to listen to our bodies sensations as indicators of feelings and emotions as part of managing anger.

Abul- Abed, the fictional "Beiruti" character who entertained us in the previous decades is revived at Makassed KBWH College through the lovely mascot that resembles this traditional figure with his bushy mustache and traditional "tarboush". Our new Abul- Abed has his own passport ready and will be packing his bags with lovely Lebanese souvenirs to tour the world to introduce our culture to the universe and learn about other cultures, too. Malaysia will be his first destination, so we wish him a safe and happy flight...
